About Varun
I’m a senior journalist, presenter, and editor with over 25 years’ experience across broadcast, digital, and international media. My background includes reporting and presenting for the BBC, as well as producing and hosting global travel content.
I teach because I’ve seen how difficult it is to break into journalism without clear, practical guidance. Most courses focus on theory—I focus on how it actually works.
My aim is simple: to give students the skills, confidence, and clarity to write better, think like a journalist, and stand out in a competitive industry.
I’m professional, direct, and supportive—and I tailor every session to help each student make real, measurable progress.

Techniques & teaching methodology:
Practical and hands-on. I teach how journalism works in the real world: story structure, interviewing, headlines, and clear writing. Sessions combine explanation, live exercises, and direct feedback.
