About Ben
I am a 1st year undergraduate student at the University of Bath, reading Physics with Astrophysics. I have helped run my local Scout group for around 3 years so am very experienced with tutor adjacent skills. I achieved top grades across maths, physics, and further maths at A-level, in 2025. This means I have recent exam experience.

Hi! I’m Ben, an Astrophysics student at the University of Bath. I achieved A* in Edexcel Mathematics, A in Edexcel Further Mathematics (including Mechanics and Decision), and A in OCR B Physics at A-level.
I offer online tutoring in GCSE Maths, GCSE Physics, A-level Maths, A-level Further Maths, and A-level Physics. My lessons focus on clear explanations, building confidence, and strong exam technique — not just memorising methods.
Having recently studied these subjects myself, I understand where students commonly struggle and how to explain topics in an approachable way. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s revising content, tackling homework, or preparing for exams.
Sessions are delivered online using an interactive whiteboard and shared worked solutions. I aim to make lessons friendly, calm, and productive, with plenty of time for questions.
I also offer a free short introductory session so we can discuss goals and see if my teaching style suits you.
