About Audrey
My Master of Arts in English laid the foundation for 12 years of teaching English to eager learners. A student preparing for IELTS improved two full band scores after months of steady practice together. I helped a professional improve his business emails by practicing real workplace scenarios each week.
I worked with a college student who transformed her writing once we focused on clear thesis statements. I enjoy watching students go from hesitant to confident with steady practice. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics.
My lessons are structured but flexible, adjusting to how each student learns best. My goal is always to make English feel approachable rather than intimidating. I believe learning English should feel practical and connected to real life.
I use a mix of practice, feedback and real examples in every lesson. Patience and encouragement are central to how I teach every student. Each student is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their pace.
I would love to be part of your learning journey, so get in touch anytime.

Every lesson ends with a quick review to reinforce what was learned. Writing practice includes both academic essays and creative short pieces. For example, when teaching tenses I use short stories so students see the rules in action.
I like to start with grammar basics before moving into real conversation practice. I also work on presentation skills so students feel confident speaking in public. I encourage students to keep a journal to build writing fluency naturally.
Pronunciation drills are kept light and fun, using tongue twisters and recordings. We work on reading comprehension using articles that match each student's interest. For exam preparation such as IELTS or TOEFL, we focus on timed practice tests.
Literature discussions help advanced students think critically about themes and characters.
