About Vanessa
I graduated from Boston College in 2025 with a degree in Human-Centered Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics. I am currently applying to graduate school, where I hope to study Applied Mathematics and work as a Teaching Assistant. Before college, I took as many computer science, physics, and math classes in high school, so am very familiar with classes like those (including preparing for the AP exams). In the past, I was a Residential Assistant at BC, a swim instructor and coach, President of BC Relay For Life with the American Cancer Society, a research assistant with the math and machine learning lab at BC, and tutored some friends in Calculus I, II, and III during undergrad.

I am very patient so can match whatever pace needed. I typically have a couple different ways of explaining things, so if one way doesn't make sense to my students, I can pivot and try another explanation.
I am available to tutor any middle and high school level math class, as well as most college level math classes.
