About Dallin
I graduated with my Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University in 2023. I majored in Accounting and minored in Spanish. I learned Spanish from the ages of 19-21 when I was living abroad in Mexico. I had no choice but to learn. I was living in the state of Veracruz, and when I first arrived, I didn't know any Spanish. I learned through consistent study of various texbooks and practicing my conversational skills with the people that lived there. By the time I left Mexico and returned home in 2019, I was perfeclty fluent. After arriving home, I returned to college and decided to minor in Spanish so that I could keep up on my skillset.

As a non-native speaker of Spanish, I know what it is like to have to learn a foreign language. As a California native, I learned Spanish when I was living in Mexico for various years. My teaching approach centers around helping students learn the language the same way I did: mastering grammar rules and memorizing vocabulary. There are so many wonderful experiences we can have by opening ourselves up to a new language and culture. I want to share the tools I have so that young students can develop their own skillset.
