About Mary
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a a Bachelor’s of Music in Composition with a concentration in Piano. During university I learned advanced music theory, aural skills, music history, and keyboard skills. I have experience competing at a state level, playing with bands, and even as a wedding pianist. I have about 2 years of piano teaching experience with students from 5-28 years old.

I can teach traditional piano lessons, which include performance, music theory and aural skills. I also can teach improvisation for church, rock and pop piano. Depending on your interests I can teach basic compositional skills for piano arrangement and composition. I try to tailor my lessons to each student’s unique needs and wants.
