About Beverley
I love the Spanish language. My years in Spain set the foundation for my success as an educator, exploring and navigating a new environment on my own. Since my return, I have been serving a variety of communities with different needs and experiences. I have cherished helping them all flourish individually throughout my career. To detail, I have worked with students ranging from 3 years old to adults with disabilities. In addition to working in bilingual schools in Spain, I have also worked in two different Montessori schools. I love seeing my students grow, and I love being able to give back to them as a teacher and tutor.

My lessons are student-centered. If we are not able to identify in conversation what you are looking for, I am happy to give some pre-assessments to determine your needs. I am also happy to look at your current assignments to see what kind of feedback you are getting on those assignments. In my years in the classroom, I have taught multiple levels of Spanish, ranging from Spanish 2 to AP Spanish Language & Culture. I have also taught AP Spanish Literature as well as five different levels of Heritage Spanish (working with native speakers from a variety of locations). My lessons are sometimes project-based, sometimes inquiry-based with a reading and writing focus, and other times they can also be a review of topics that need more remediation. The more informed our conversation is prior to the lesson, the more tailored the lesson can be.
