About Chang
Hello everyone, and welcome! I'm so excited to be part of your Math learning journey. I hold a Master of Teaching in Mathematics and have spent the last three years helping students discover their potential. I believe that a strong teacher-student relationship is built on trust and mutual respect. My aim is to inspire confidence in each of you, so that you feel supported and empowered to ask questions and tackle new challenges. I use a student-centered approach that focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review previous content, introduce new concepts, and practice questions.
Longer sessions (e.g. 90–120 minutes) can also be arranged for exam preparation or intensive revision.
I am a qualified secondary school mathematics teacher in both China and Australia, and I have experience teaching students across different year levels in classroom settings. My background allows me to understand different curricula and adapt my teaching to suit a wide range of learners.
My lessons are suitable for:
* Secondary school students (Years 7–12)
* Students preparing for exams (including HSC or equivalent)
* Students who need help building foundational math skills
* High-achieving students looking for extension and challenge
