About Shela Mae
Hello! I'm a fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics student with three years of experience providing in-person math tutoring. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I simplify complex topics through clear, step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and engaging problem-solving activities. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop critical thinking skills and confidence in solving mathematical problems independently.
I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students who need support with their lessons, homework, quizzes, or exam preparation. Whether you're struggling with the basics or looking to strengthen your skills, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and practice. My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I break down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations, followed by guided practice and independent exercises to reinforce learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by the introduction of a new topic using examples and visual aids.
