About Nicholas

I was someone that breezed through high school, I hardly ever studied or did homework outside of class, and still had good grades. But, when I started college, I had the same mentality and was quickly struck by the real world. 2 semesters into college I was on academic probation, changed majors, and was contemplating dropping out. I decided to pick a truly challenging and interesting major that would force myself to “jump off the cliff” of dialing in my education. I fell on biochemistry and the first semester was really, really hard, but I had better grades than ever, because I truly was interested in what I was learning and spent massive amounts of time outside of class learning the topics. These behaviors reinforced throughout the rest of my college career and I ended up finishing with a GPA that has allowed me to apply to multiple graduate programs across the country to further my education and hopefully extend the scientific education of others some day.

About the lesson

I have spent the past 6 years studying biological sciences including, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, and have gained a solid understanding of math up the the Pre-Calculus level and English & Comprehension of the college graduate level. I will be sure to do whatever necessary to assist students with their goals and aspirations. I hope to gain somewhat of a personal relationship with each student to best make analogies to relevant interests and topics of science in order to make information stick as I find that to be the most intriguing way to learn.
