About Kat
I would be a good professor because I’m deeply passionate about education, communication, and helping others grow both academically and personally. My background in healthcare and nursing has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and clear instruction — qualities that are essential for teaching effectively. As a trilingual professional (English, Spanish, and French), I’m able to connect with diverse learners and explain complex concepts in ways that are inclusive and easy to understand. My experience working in medical offices, assisting patients, and supporting healthcare teams has strengthened my ability to lead, mentor, and adapt my communication style to meet different learning needs. Most importantly, I view teaching as an opportunity to inspire confidence and curiosity. I would bring enthusiasm, structure, and real-world experience to the classroom to help students develop both the knowledge and critical thinking skills they need to succeed.
