I had the pleasure of taking piano lessons with Kathy Mok and I can’t recommend her enough! Kathy’s teaching style is patient, thorough, and truly inspiring. She has an amazing ability to break down complex concepts into manageable steps, which made learning so much easier and more enjoyable. I especially appreciated how she tailored each lesson to my progress and interests, which kept me motivated throughout. Thanks to Kathy’s guidance, I feel much more confident in my playing and am so grateful for the progress I’ve made.

As an adult student, having a piano teacher that instilling proper technique and form, music therory from the very first lesson is crucial. I didn’t even know I have the passion for piano until I started to take lessons with Kathy. She is very professional, kind, gentle and patience. I progress so much even my circle of friends wanted to start playing piano as well!

Kathy is the current piano teacher for my two daughters, since 2018 and 2021 respectively. My impressions of Kathy are that she is dedicated, pleasant and attentive to the musical development of my children. She would praise them on good progress, point out things to improve on constructively, and give clear goals and expectations on what they should achieve.

My children have different personalities and learning styles, and Kathy was able to use different methods creatively to tailor to their learning needs. I know that my daughters enjoy their lessons with Kathy, and I highly recommend Kathy as a piano teacher for other students.
