About Tobias
I'm a lifelong learner, video-essayist, and creative, with a Bachelor of Journalism and Arts (majors in Philosophy and History).
I graduated at the University of Queensland in 2023. I've had experience going to an arts school when I was younger and then a science school at Queensland Academies for Health Sciences undertaking the International Baccalaureate program which I completed in 2019.
I do a lot of filmmaking, also create music, and write scripts, putting together video essays exploring philosophical themes in my business. I also love running, nature, and travel.

I teach English through a range of activities depending on the student, ranging from primary school to high school. This can include creative writing exercises, tailored to the student's interests. Reading articles of interest together, discussing, building comprehension skills and developing genuine interest in the subject.
I like to bring passion to English, seeing it as something fascinating, inspiring, and the ways that language intersect with other fields, including science, history, philosophy, and everyday life.
With upper high school students I like to make sure students are aware of the criteria in how they are being marked, and think from the mindset of the examiners, so they can ace the system they are working.
