The first lesson is for introduction. You explain which topics you are working on, and why you have opted for tutoring. We look together at your expectations from the tutor, and then draw up a schedule. Option: in consultation 'field trips' can be planned to museums, excavations and other relevant historical places. In my experience, on-site learning works much better that text stomps from a book.
