About Graham
I enjoy teaching - to see people develop their skills, and feel better about themselves through their achievements.
(I also teach English - and Piano / keyboards - and still work professionally as a performing musician -trained classically but now play and teach all styles.)
There is a definite connection between mathematics and music - and perhaps that is why both mathematics and music greatly appeal to me.
Overall I feel a great satisfaction from helping others - that's why I teach!!

My approach to tutoring is check and develop all of the foundational skills -the building blocks of mathematics, then specifically work on subject areas.
The lessons are always interactive with plenty of checking for understanding at every part of the mathematics program.
The lessons are usually on TEAMS or ZOOM - video but the student need not have their camera switched on if they prefer - I share my screen for the majority of the lessons.
I have performed many hours of online mathematics tutoring with excellent results.
