About Karabo
I am young, focused and curious. I am intrigued by new knowledge and the opportunity to share knowledge.
I am of the impression that a teacher is a life long learner and in that I have taken it upon myself to be teachable.
Teaching came about as something that I was not aware that I am capable of doing. Friends and family always made me aware that I have this innate thing of being patient with a person when it comes to teaching them how to master something.
I became much more aware of the passion of teaching around the time when I was preparing for Matric Preliminary exams and my peers needed help with Afrikaans. The way in which I approached the study session, was that of a teacher. In that moment I understood that teaching was something I wanted to pursue a degree in Education.

I work on creating lesson that are fun and informative.
I enjoy having conversations to show that the English language is special and interesting.
I particularly enjoy working through literature because when we read we sink into the world that the author builds through his words.
Poetry is also another part of English that is amazing. The poet folds up a whole story in just a few stanzas
I understand that language is one thing that is often overlooked but it is important to be able to communicate. One has to understand that to be able to bridge communication in a place of different languages, English will help you understand one another.
The aim of my English lesson is for you to learn while having fun. It is also about learning to respect the art in learning a language.
