About Suvannah
As an educator, I have an array of teaching styles and resources that I can draw upon to assist a learner in their development. For example, I previously taught a learner who struggled to maintain attention during lessons.
To overcome this, I sectioned the curriculum into smaller more manageable portions, this was accompanied by fun activities which taught the concepts in the curriculum.
By accommodating the learner in this manner, I was able to focus his attention on each specific task which not only significantly improved his attention span but also developed his interpersonal skills.

As an experienced language educator (English and Afrikaans), I aim to encourage inclusivity by developing lessons that appeals to the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learner, thus ensuring individualized teaching and learning. In my classroom I adopt learner center approach, which allows holistic learning to occur.
I firmly believe that all learners possess the potential to excel, my role is to guide you in reaching your capacity academically. I begin all my lessons with an engagement in which I discuss with my learner where they are currently from an educational perspective, I would get to know my learner better, find out what they enjoy doing and then tailor my style of teaching to meet their needs.
