About CINTIA

Hello! My name is Cintia, and I am a passionate and dedicated Chemistry tutor with years of experience teaching students at various levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry from PUCV, Chile, and PhD in Chemistry since 2025. As part of my research, I’m also gained valuable experience at Monash University in Australia.

I’ve been teaching Chemistry since 2015, and over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels. I’m committed to providing a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment that helps students not only understand Chemistry but also build their confidence in the subject.

My goal is to make Chemistry accessible and enjoyable, no matter how challenging it may seem at first. I use a variety of teaching methods to suit each student's learning style, whether they prefer detailed explanations, visual aids, or hands-on practice. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I’m here to help guide them through each step of their learning journey.

With my strong academic background and years of tutoring experience, you can be confident that I’m well-equipped to help you reach your goals. I look forward to working with you and making Chemistry a subject you enjoy mastering!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, focused on creating a supportive and engaging environment where each individual can thrive. I tailor my teaching methods to suit the unique needs of each student, aiming to build both their understanding and confidence in Chemistry. I believe in making complex concepts accessible by breaking them down into simpler, manageable steps. To achieve this, I employ a variety of techniques, such as visual aids, real-world applications, and interactive problem-solving.

I also encourage active learning by asking questions that prompt critical thinking and foster curiosity, helping students connect theory to practice. I aim to adapt the pace of lessons to the student’s needs, ensuring that no one feels overwhelmed and that they can grasp the material effectively.

The typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes, though I am flexible depending on the student’s preference and availability.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Chemistry. I began teaching Chemistry in 2015 and have extensive experience teaching a wide range of courses at different levels, both online and in-person. My expertise includes Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.

My lessons are suitable for students of various levels and ages, from high school students to university undergraduates, as well as those in need of specialised support.

Cintia is an excellent chemist and teacher. She has helped me with many concepts of general and organic chemistry, especially with reaction mechanisms.
She is very patient and tries to explain things in different ways until you understand them.
If she doesn't have the answer to something I assure you that she will study and research until she has the answer.
