About Van
I want to teach because I believe the early years are the most magical time in a child’s life, a time full of wonder, discovery, and endless potential. I love being part of those first steps in learning, watching little eyes light up when they read a word for the first time or proudly solve a math puzzle. Teaching gives me the chance to make a real difference, to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. It’s not just a job to me—it’s a joy, a privilege, and a calling.

I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher with years of experience in both FS1 and FS2. I have a real passion for teaching early reading, writing, and mathematics, and I believe in building strong foundations through playful, hands-on learning. I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. My teaching style is creative and engaging, designed to spark curiosity, boost confidence, and support each child’s individual learning journey. I also believe in the power of strong partnerships with families and colleagues—working together to help every child shine.
