About Jamie
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph, studying Arts and Science with minors in Biology and Theatre Studies. I have extensive experience working with students of different ages and learning styles, both in academic and creative settings. Through my background in teaching English, math, and dance, I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills that allow me to explain concepts clearly and keep students motivated. I take my role as a tutor seriously and always aim to create a positive, dependable, and engaging learning experience. My goal is to help every student feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.

I’m passionate about helping students discover confidence and joy in learning. I work to tailor each lesson to the student’s unique learning style, ensuring they feel supported and engaged every step of the way. I have experience teaching English, math, and dance to students from grades 1 through 9, and I focus on creating an encouraging, creative, and uplifting environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. My goal is to help students strengthen both their understanding of the material and their belief in their own abilities. I also excelled in AP English, earning honors in my studies, and bring that same dedication and enthusiasm to every tutoring session.
