About MUSTAFIJUR

Hi, I’m Mustafijur – a passionate science educator and a PhD researcher at RMIT University, Melbourne, where I specialize in biomedical textiles and nanotechnology. I’ve spent over a decade teaching university students in Bangladesh and Australia, and now I want to share my knowledge and experience with high school students like you. Why? Because I genuinely believe that science and math don’t have to be intimidating—they can be exciting, empowering, and even fun when taught the right way. Throughout my academic journey—from earning a Commonwealth Scholarship for my MSc at the University of Manchester to teaching as an Assistant Professor, and now conducting cutting-edge research at RMIT—I’ve discovered that what truly drives me is helping others understand and succeed. I’ve worked with students from all kinds of backgrounds and learning styles, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone gain confidence and start enjoying a subject they once found difficult. That’s why I tutor. Not just to help you get better grades (though we’ll definitely do that too!), but to help you build skills, curiosity, and a mindset that will serve you well beyond the classroom. About the lesson

As a PhD scholar in Biomedical Textiles at RMIT University with over a decade of university-level teaching experience, I bring a structured, engaging, and student-focused approach to tutoring. My classes are tailored to meet each student's unique learning style, strengths, and academic goals.

I specialize in teaching high school students (Years 9–12), particularly those preparing for VCE, HSC, or similar senior secondary exams. Subjects I tutor include Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and General Science.

My teaching style is built around:

Simplifying complex concepts using real-life examples from science, technology, and engineering.

Goal-oriented lessons, focusing on exam preparation, understanding key principles, and building strong problem-solving skills.

Active learning, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking and interactive discussion to deepen understanding.

Progress tracking, with regular quizzes, revision tasks, and feedback to monitor growth and boost confidence.

Lesson Duration:
Standard lessons are 60–90 minutes, depending on the topic and student needs. I also offer focused sessions for revision, assignment help, or exam prep.
