About Athena
The Athena Reich Music and Acting Studio (ARMA) provides private piano, guitar, songwriting, singing and acting lessons to children and adults, from beginner through professional. Emphasizing Pop, Broadway, Classical, Rock, and Audition Prep, ARMA provides quality coaching specializing in an individualized approach. Notable teaching credits include successfully coaching kids for prestigious arts school auditions, and major network tv auditions including on-set coaching for Netflix TV shows. Athena holds a BFA in music from Concordia University in Montreal and won Best Pop Song at the Outmusic Awards in 2009. She also won Best Comedy on YTV with judge Eugene Levy. She has recorded five albums and 4 singles, all of which are currently available on iTunes. Her music videos charted #1 on MTV LOGO and had millions of views on YouTube. Acting appearances include The Perfect Murder, White Collar, and her one-woman show, "LADY GAGA: #ARTBIRTH" which received Time Out Critic's Pick in New York City at the Laurie Beechman Theater in 2015. Athena also created and taught arts curriculum for special needs to hundreds of teachers for over 10 years, as commissioned by the New York City Board of Education. She has been teaching privately since 2000.
