Miss Liz is patient, kind and really knows her math and how it all works together! She is the smartest person I know who really likes to think (and play games)! She also helps me with my essays, presentations, and science projects.

My son is autistic and was far behind in math. Ms Liz comes in twice a week and has built trust and a great routine with my son. She changes the learning games quickly and finds unique ways that works best for my son! She has helped my son catch up by 3 grade levels and is incredibly patient with him.

I don't know how she was able to help my failing son catch up in math, but now enjoy it! I always want to know "why" we do stuff. What is the purpose for learning? Ms. Liz encourages us to asks these questions and finds ways to connect it to a real-world problem. I never knew there were soooooo many connections to algebra and geometry in the real-world.

Miss Liz taught me Algebra 1 and was AMAZING! I normally hate going to math class, but she somehow makes it fun and really gets to know the students! I thought letters in math was supposed to be hard but she calls it "solving the mystery" and it doesn't seem so bad now.
