About Florence
Hi I’m Florence! I’m a dedicated high school student with a strong academic and leadership background. As the President of DECA and a former Competitive Events Coordinator, I've built my organizational and leadership skills. I've also served as Finance Coordinator at Voices of the World and National Lead at Illuminate Universe. I'm passionate about finance and innovation, evidenced by my participation in The Knowledge Society's Innovate Program, specializing in blockchain technology. Additionally, I co-founded The United Women's Initiative and the National Lead at Illuminate Universe. With over 11 years of classical dance experience and a role as a youth ambassador for Plan International Canada, I'm committed to making a positive impact in business and beyond.
I've consistently been a 95%+ student, excelling in English and French, and I've received a language award for my success. My passion for these languages led me to tutor in English and French, aiming to share my knowledge and help others succeed.
I connect with students on a personal level, ensuring they feel comfortable and not intimidated. My extensive academic and leadership experiences help me inspire and motivate my students effectively.
