About Jeannie
I worked as a free-lance journalist while in college and I have written a book for a traditional publisher (see Amazon.com). I have done some free-lance editing for a published author. In the past, I have taught composition and literature, and teach English at Lord Fairfax College, Virginia.

I have a college degree from Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo, Michigan and a master's degree in English literature from the University of Virginia. I will give lessons to college students or to high school seniors preparing for college. If reading comprehension is a problem, I can assist by teaching students to scan, annotate paragraphs, or by outlining main ideas. I teach English at Lord Fairfax Community College.
