About Tianyu
I am an award-recognized Physics tutor with a 99.90 ATAR and outstanding results in QCAA Physics, achieving a 50/50 internal assessment score and 49/50 on the external examination. My performance was recognized by the Australian Institute of Physics for excellence in Physics, reflecting both academic mastery and strong scientific reasoning skills. I am well equipped to help students with assignments, exams, and everything in between, having a thorough knowledge of both the VCE and QCE syllabi and what each assessment requires. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in physics. I offer tutoring for all year levels and abilities up until Year 12 and I am well experienced in both the QCE and VCE curricula (For Queensland and Victorian students).

I offer tutoring for all year levels and abilities up until Year 12 and I am well experienced in both the QCE and VCE curricula (For Queensland and Victorian students). All session times are possible and can be arranged.
**Achievements & Experience:**
As a well rounded student with a range of achievements in Music, extracurriculars, and academics, I graduated with a perfect marks across all internal exams, and an ATAR of 99.90 (2025), earning the Premier's Student Achievement Award. I have experience teaching students across all levels from grade 6 to 12 for my respective subjects, and I was also the Academic Mentoring Captain at my school, where I lead tutoring programs for students in various areas.
I am passionate about empowering students to achieve their full potential and find confidence in their abilities. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students grow, not only in knowledge but also in self-belief.
**My Tutoring Approach:**
I believe in a personalized, student-centered approach. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs, focusing on building a strong foundation, improving problem-solving skills, and boosting confidence.
**Lesson Structure:**
Lessons typically begin with a brief review of previous content, followed by focused instruction on new material. I provide plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice, and I encourage students to ask questions and engage with the material.
**Materials Provided:**
I have a range of past papers and resources in all areas including competition maths - I also offer tailored worksheets, homework, notes, and practice problems suited to the student’s needs. I also recommend textbooks that align with the curriculum and areas of focus.
**Levels of Tutoring Offered:**
I tutor students from Junior School to Senior High School, with a special focus on Mathematical Methods, competition maths, and other subjects. I also offer academic mentoring and tutoring for debating.
