About Nathan
I am currently a fourth year astrophysics and math student at UC Berkeley. I have always loved the interconnectedness of math, nature, and art because it demonstrates the elegance of nature and shows that math is relevant to almost any subject. I believe that having a strong foundation in problem solving skills and proofs is incredibly useful, regardless of whether or not you end up working in STEM. I love to share the beauty of math with everyone and will meet any student where they are, so I can help build their confidence and they can succeed in whatever they end up doing.

My lesson plans are individually tailored to each students needs, whether that means reinforcing concepts from school and homework help, reviewing material from previous courses as they come up in current coursework, or just covering new material at the desired pace of the student. Regardless of subject or education level, I emphasize the development of age appropriate problem solving skills and logical thinking, as they build a strong foundation for future coursework across many fields. I intend to provide students with useful skills that prepare them for the future while also fostering a love for problem solving.
