About Juan
My name is Juan Lima and I am an astrophysics student in the University of Sao Paulo, Brasil. I am on a exchange program here in Australia so that I can get a better level in my english skills in order to apply for a Master/PhD student position abroad. I have been teaching physics and maths since I was 16, the same age I joined USP, as a tutor in private schools and in private classes.

In these 7 years of teaching, I always preached that I should not be the only active party during a class, and I will always push for you independence so that you can build your problem solving skills. The classes usually lasts about an hour and I think that 2 is the most that someone can take in a row before fatigue becomes a factor. Classes consist mostly of theory presentation and exercises solving, with you doing most of the job while being assisted by me.
