I have a degree in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have been tutoring since high school and now I work with SAT and ACT test prep as well as Math, Physics, Calculus, and Chemistry tutoring.

The human brain operates at different frequencies depending on what we are doing. The ideal frequency for learning is alpha, easily reached when we are having fun and relaxed. Therefore, I base my teaching method on the principle that all information needs to be linked to an emotion. I tailor the content to the needs and interests of each student. I also like to teach study habits and memorization techniques so that my students can optimize their time and focus all resources on understanding concepts and putting them into practice. Our memory operates in three ways: repetition, exposure and intensity. In school, we usually focus on repetition and exposure, but intensity is the most efficient way to learn and retain new content, so I always keep that in mind when structuring my lessons.
