About Faham

Honestly, as someone who suffered from untreated ADHD I breezed through my academics and in maths related subjects in particular due to my personal resonance with it. Oftentimes multiple lessons ahead of other students and bored out of my mind, I enjoyed being able to help teach others to understand things the way I did and recognise how easy it was to break down daunting equations.

Its for the same reason I know how hard it is when the subject "disagrees with you" spending hours fighting the ability to sit down and do homework nevermind actually tackling the subject in the exam hall. Every person is different, but maths will always be the same, so its a matter of getting you to understand how maths works your own way so that you can handle things even if you don't agree with it.

You aren't at fault for not finding it easy or for not being able to match high standards, but you will always be capable of succeeding anyway so long as you get help knowing how to do things in a way that suits you best and that is what I'm here for.

About the lesson

With prior experience in tutoring, my method is based around adapting to the student and trying to make them understand the content beyond just memorising it, which helps especially well with individuals on the spectrum and branches out into other topics even though mathematics is the main focus.

My lesson length is open from 1-4h on a weekday, open to discuss the schedule and content before the lesson begins so you know what is being taught before the session starts and know what is upcoming so you can discuss with faculty at the school they attend.

My lessons are for students tackling their SATS or their GCSE's of any age so long as they are willing, accounting for unconventional medical circumstances that might require a specialised approach which is often something necessary for children on the autistic spectrum or suffer from ADHD like I have.

Whether you want to simply improve their grades or push them to their potential, I will constantly inform and update you on their lesson plans outside of session time as well as discuss how to adjust depending on their needs or your own standards.
