About Roncallan
Hi :)
My name is Roncallan but everyone who knows me calls me Ronkie. I am 25 years old. I am from beautiful and picturesque South Africa. More specifically, I reside in the coastal town of Mossel Bay. I hold a 168 hour TEFL certificate and a BA (Psychology and History) degree. Presently I am completing my PGCE (Intermediate phase). I have 1,5 years teaching experience- 1 year abroad in Shanghai, China and 6 months online and face-to-face tutoring. I have a passion for teaching and people, especially children. I absolutely love travelling, cooking and reading. I enjoy broadening my knowledge and challenging my view of the world and it’s cultures. I am kind, caring, warm, enthusiastic and funny (well, I think so!)

My lessons are guaranteed to be filled with age/grade appropriate content, an abundance of resources and fun. My resources entice all the senses as I incorporate a variety of music, videos, pictures, realia, etc. My lessons are a good mixture of heard work and fun, where we work and play together achieve our goals. I incorporate technology where possible as we live in technological age. I teach in ways that are interactive, supportive and transparent. I allow my learners to thrive by allowing them to have a voice, ask questions and participate in lessons no matter their confidence. As a result- they grow in confidence.
