About Husna

Hello! I'm an aspiring medical student who has recently completed my A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Throughout my studies, I discovered revision methods and learning techniques that made difficult topics much easier to understand, and I enjoy sharing these strategies with my students to help them study more effectively and build confidence.

I achieved Grade 8 GCSEs in both Maths and Chemistry and have six months of experience working at a tuition centre, where I have taught students from Year 1 through to GCSE level. This has helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style, allowing me to explain concepts in different ways depending on each student's learning needs.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit their individual goals and pace. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, strengthening their understanding and gaining the confidence to tackle challenging topics independently.

As someone who has recently been through the GCSE and A-level journey myself, I understand the pressures students face and can relate to the challenges they experience. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to give them the study skills, confidence and motivation they can use throughout their education.

About the lesson

I believe every student can do well in Maths and Chemistry with the right support and encouragement. My aim is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in their abilities.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student and their learning style. At the start, I'll identify which topics they are confident with and which they need more help on. I explain concepts step by step in a simple and easy-to-understand way before working through examples together. Once they feel more confident, we'll practise exam-style and past paper questions to improve both their understanding and exam technique. I also share revision tips and study methods that have helped me succeed.

Lessons usually last 60 minutes, but I can also offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on the student's needs.

I achieved Grade 8 GCSEs in both Maths and Chemistry and have completed A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. As an aspiring medical student, I understand the importance of effective study techniques, consistent practice and building confidence in challenging subjects.

I also have six months of tutoring experience at a tuition centre, where I have worked with students ranging from Year 1 through to GCSE level. This experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching style for different ages and abilities, whether that means introducing basic numeracy to younger children or helping older students tackle more challenging GCSE topics and exam questions.

My lessons are suitable for primary school, KS3 and GCSE students of all abilities. Whether a student wants to strengthen their understanding, prepare for exams, improve their grades or simply gain confidence in Maths or Chemistry, I adapt every lesson to suit their individual needs and help them make steady, lasting progress.
