About Chris
I am a retired police officer and father of two high school students, both of which utterly excel in the subjects I tutor and am studying myself. I believe in ensuring you learn something new every day and would classify myself as something of a polymath. I'm happy to take on any students that need help improving their knowledge and skill in a multitude of subjects, both related to history and not.

History isn't about learning dates and other boring things like that. History is a story, and students learn it best when it's told like that. Sure, when something happened is important, but WHY it happened and what the impact of it was is just as important, if not more so. I'm also quite knowledgeable about geopolitics, mythology, and the history of various specified groups and professions. I'm currently making my way toward my Ph.D. in History, with a specialization in World War I and the years prior to and following. Lessons are hands on and taken at a pace that the student is comfortable with.
