About Anoushka
I'm Anoushka, and I've always been passionate about literature, creative writing, and teaching! Through my undergraduate experience studying English Literature and Creative Writing, and dabbling in Performing Arts, this passion grew into an academic and professional pursuit, which now motivates me to continue to share my interest with younger students. I have previously served as a college counsellor to high school students, providing writing support with essay material, and as a teaching assistant to freshman university students, for courses on Literary Theory and Creative Writing. The insights gained from these experiences now inform my approach to tutoring students, and I hope to have the opportunity to explore English, literature, and writing with you.

Offering learning support to elementary, middle, and high school students with learning prep, academic writing support for essays, creative writing sessions, and reading comprehension lessons. Familiar with CBSE, ISC, IGCSE, and IB curriculae, as well as college application essay material.
In my lessons, I take an open and interactive approach, structuring the class depending on the students' needs: in a general learning prep session, I would encourage students to familiarize themselves with learning material and prepare notes beforehand, following which we would engage in discussion, breaking down the text and undertaking literary analysis. In writing-oriented sessions, we would brainstorm writing ideas, workshop written pieces by the student (I have experience writing and editing essays, short stories, long-form writing, poetry, and graphic novels), and I would provide extensive feedback and tools for writing and editing.
