About Fionnuala
Since 2015 I have regularly run classes and workshops with both adults and children across a variety of mediums and skill levels, ranging from arts and crafts classes with young children to accredited University courses. I currently teach weekly online drawing and painting classes designed to guide beginner students through the principles of drawing and painting, covering subjects such as landscape, still life and portraiture. My goal as an art teacher is to inspire students to be creative, to know there is not just one right way to draw, paint or make, and to help them to develop their skills in the creative area they are most drawn to.

My teaching method will be tailored to the needs, age and level of each student whether this is to develop and refine a particular skill or to introduce you to a completely new medium. I place high importance on practicing basic technical skills through short, guided tasks and will include these as a warm up at the start of each session. Whether your lesson is to help with portfolio preparation, for professional or personal development I will help you to improve your confidence and command of drawing and painting.
