About Pooja

Hi! I'm an art teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I have a Master’s in Painting from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, and I currently work as a Graphic Designer at India Government Mint, Kolkata. I love helping students of all levels explore their creativity through drawing, painting, and mixed media. My classes are engaging and tailored to your pace—whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills. I believe that art is a powerful way to express yourself, and I’m committed to creating a warm, supportive space where you can grow creatively and confidently. About the lesson

Whether it be drawing or painting, I always encourage students to learn the basics like form, shape, composition, color etc.
Where art comes naturally to many, it can be intimidating to others while trying to achieve exactly what the eye captures. Therefore, I try to imbibe simple forms into art practice, so that it becomes easier to draw and execute art with confidence, because I believe that every thing in nature, including art starts with simple basic forms and shapes. Once it is achieved, anyone can draw!
My teaching techniques varies with the medium that I am teaching; i.e., for watercolor or acrylic I would give a live demonstration and ask the students to follow, whereas drawing can be conducted through digital demonstration.
I provide classes to school children as well as adults wanting painting classes for college admission.
