About Cassidy
I am an artist (pencil mainly) and ballet/contemporary dancer. I do artwork on commission which is hectic because I never used to think I could even draw... So shows how far a person can come. I have always been surprised by art because something as simple as being shown the basics really opens up your eyes to a new you (when I found out I could actually do anything I set my mind to). My studies took a different turn and I went into psychology, communication science, and English but I am hoping to find my way back to my journal through helping others do the same.

My approach to teaching art is making sure you understand all of the different rules but still have the imagination to challenge them. This is only done by practice. Art is a feeling, thought, life. I need to show students that it does not need to be limited.
