About Christopher
I am a practicing and exhibiting contemporary artist in London. I studied at Kingston University for foundation, and then at Goldsmiths University for my BA. I have had experience interviewing in both departments, and can offer guidance in both portfolio reviews and practice interviews for art school applications. I am also an experienced tutor, having worked in summer schools with Oxford International - and can help with exam prep and coursework at a secondary school level. I have good essay skills, and am happy to guide with personal statements, coursework essays and applications in any related fields.

Good portfolios and coursework submissions need a variety of approaches and mediums to show a broad range of abilities. Many tasks I will set will be short, building confidence to creating larger scale pieces of ‘finished’ work. For those who don’t feel confident in their hand skills (drawing, painting, mark making), I find references and techniques that develop your individual practice. My teaching style fits around your individual needs, whether it school work, applications for further study or even independent development. I enjoy seeing what ideas you bring to the table !
