About Egonoso

I graduated from an arts high school and am currently studying art at university. I have been studying both art and Japanese for over 10 years, and I hold a JLPT N1 certification. I also have 4 years of experience teaching art and 2 years of experience tutoring Japanese.

Some of my past students’ achievements include being accepted into Tama Art University and Waseda University, two of Japan’s prestigious universities. I believe these results speak for themselves when it comes to the quality of my teaching.

Unlike teachers who explain art vaguely based on intuition or “feel,” I focus on clear fundamentals and theory. I’ll point out exactly what you’re doing well and give you honest, detailed feedback on what needs improvement.

If you’re looking for a teacher who will genuinely help you improve rather than simply tell you that your work “looks good,” I may be the right teacher for you!

About the lesson

Lessons are conducted one-on-one through Discord and mainly focus on personalized feedback and art theory. I teach theory that can be directly applied to the artwork you are currently working on, and I can also provide separate theory assignments if you’d like. Since everyone has different schedules, lesson times are flexible and can be arranged to fit your availability!

Anyone who loves drawing is welcome to join! If you’ve always wanted to learn Japanese manga-style art but struggled to find someone who teaches it, I can confidently say this is the perfect place for you.

If you’re also interested in Japanese culture, I’m happy to share my knowledge of Japanese and tips for creating artwork aimed at Japanese audiences at no additional cost!

Feel free to reach out anytime! Lessons are $45 per hour, and the most common option is one 1.5-hour lesson per week for 4 weeks.

Most students choose to have one 1.5-hour lesson per week for 4 weeks!

**Pricing:**
• 1 lesson (1.5 hours): $67.50 CAD
• 4 lessons per month (6 hours total): $270 CAD

Of course, you can also book 1-hour lessons or longer sessions depending on your needs and schedule! Lessons can be up to 3 hours long.
