I am a Canadian spacecraft engineer with a passion for games of strategy (not limited to Chess). I like problem solving and predicting results. Chess offers a unique rule-based environment with just the right amount of chaos to work some magic on the board. Initial lessons will focus on assessing your current level through a couple of games and perhaps some puzzle-based scenarios. Following this, I shall get you up to speed on areas that you need to improve on - be that in tactics, openings, or simply in prophylactic play. We shall likely pick a few handy openings and assess the different lines - slowly building your arsenal until you are comfortable with never-before-seen scenarios as well. Finally, I do rely heavily on discussing pro-level games and puzzle solving as well.
