About Penelope
"Completing a BSc in Advanced Computing at ANU provided the theoretical framework I rely on daily. To be honest, the real learning started when I pushed code to production at Atlassian and Canva.
Spending 13 years in the industry taught me that engineering is less about syntax and more about clear logic. My current focus centers on helping adults and career switchers navigate complex technical landscapes.
Coding platforms like LeetCode often intimidate newcomers, but I provide the necessary scaffolding to tackle them. I teach C++ and object-oriented programming alongside modern web development stacks. SQL, databases, and backend APIs form the backbone of what we cover. I look forward to building your technical foundation toward your next career milestone."
