About Marilyn
Why do I dedicate time to teaching programming? Perhaps it is because I remember how confusing syntax felt before I gained clarity.
My 5 years of teaching include work with hundreds of students, grounding them in concepts before moving to complex tasks. I hold a degree from University College Dublin. After graduation, I spent 6 years working as a developer at a Sydney startup.
This professional career informs my teaching of JavaScript, C++, and object-oriented programming. I cover SQL, databases, Python, HTML, CSS, data structures, clean code, and debugging. I enjoy quiet weekends reading technical journals.
