About Patty
Teaching provides a direct channel for sharing the music that has defined my life. The resonance of a well-played chord on the piano is a specific sensory image I look for in every student. With 7 years of experience, I focus on ear training, pop and contemporary styles, and essential accompaniment skills.
Mastery of memorization techniques, dynamics, expression, and pedaling technique forms the foundation of my method. I also emphasize scales, arpeggios, classical repertoire, sight playing, and chord voicing. Your musical goals remain the ultimate destination.
