About Sofia

Drawing on my background as a Berklee graduate, I break down complex concepts like sight singing and tone resonance into digestible parts.
We spend time on genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theater to ensure your versatility grows alongside your technical accuracy. My instruction remains rooted in the belief that the body is the primary instrument, so we prioritize healthy belting and articulation. Every minute of our lesson centers on your specific goals and comfort level.

Working with kids and exam candidates often reveals how much tension we accidentally carry in our chests. I admit that I struggled to find my own resonance until I stopped treating singing like an academic task and started treating it like a cultural expression. My 9 years of experience include coaching performance students in the styles of Víctor Jara and Violeta Parra. I bring these traditions into sight singing and vocal range extension drills to ensure the voice sounds authentic.
100 students have progressed through my studio by focusing on vibrato control and genre styling. I use my degree to explain belting technique and diction in ways that respect the instrument. If you want to explore your vocal potential in a low-pressure environment, feel free to join me.
