About Hunter
Hi! I’m a graduate-level nursing student pursuing my PMHNP- MSN from UTA, with a BSN from Baylor University, where I was part of the Honors College and developed a deep love for academic excellence. With years of rigorous nursing education under my belt, I’ve learned what truly works when it comes to mastering tough material and I’m here to share that with you. Throughout my nursing journey, I’ve been the go-to resource for classmates leading study groups, breaking down complex topics, and creating highly visual study guides and cheat sheets that simplify even the trickiest content. Here’s how a typical lesson goes:
- Getting to Know You (5-10 mins) We’ll start by identifying your learning style—are you a visual learner? Do you thrive with real-life scenarios or prefer step-by-step breakdowns? I’ll also ask about your goals, current struggles, and what you want to achieve in the session.
- Custom Game Plan (5 mins) Together, we’ll create a quick outline for the session based on your priorities (exams, concept mastery, assignments, etc.).
- Interactive Teaching (30+ mins) This is where the magic happens: Visual Aids like charts, diagrams, and concept maps to simplify complex topics, Case Studies to bring real-world application into your study, Mnemonics & Memory Tricks to help you retain key info without cramming, Practice Questions & Quizzes to reinforce learning and boost test readiness
- Wrap-Up & Game Plan (5-10 mins) We’ll review what we covered, clarify any remaining questions, and make a plan for next steps or follow-up sessions.
