"Honest instruction requires acknowledging that true musicality is a slow, steady climb rather than a sudden leap. Having taught for 13 years, I find that success often hides in the quiet repetition of scales and the careful study of rhythm and timing. My MMus training ensures that every student develops solid memorization techniques alongside a deep appreciation for pop or contemporary styles. I provide a progress tracker shared with parents every month to keep everyone informed about the specific milestones reached during our time together.
We work on expression and accompaniment skills to ensure that each piece played is a performance rather than just a sequence of notes. My commitment is to ensure you enjoy the process of becoming a thoughtful, capable musician."
