About Sofia
Hi!
I'm Sofia, an italian (sardinian) girl, also an industrial engineer with the passion for italian foods and traditions.
What I want to teach are the basis of italian kitchen, basically my families recipies.
I'm not a professional chef, but I have all the passion in the world to teach all the tips and secrets my family shared with me.

Lasagne, pasta, parmigiana di melanzane e much more italian authentic dishes will be no more a secret for you!
I love to share the traditions of my 100% italian family. The recipes I teach are the ones I learned watching the hands of my sicilian mum, and my sardinian grandma.
My mission is not only to give you the recipes, but also to follow you step by step cooking together, as we were in my grandma's kitchen.
I'm very lucky because they taught me all the most tasteful and typical italian dishes.
Some example with the required teaching time are:
- home made fresh pasta (e.g. ravioli and culurgiones) (1.5h - 2h)
- Italian lasagne (2h-2.5h)
- Parmigiana di melanzane (1.5h)
- Milanese risotto (1.5h)
- Arancine (3h)
- Meetballs with tomato sauce (1h-1.5h)
- Carbonara (30m-1h)
- Amatriciana (1h)
- Tiramisu (1h)
We will cook with the bare minimum equipment (a pot, a pan, classical knives and some plates).
I will send you the list of ingredient for the recipe you have chosen, make sure to have them for the lesson and then...let the italian traditions virtually enter in your kitchen!
