About Clara
Hello, my name is Anphy, and I am an experienced mathematics tutor with a passion for teaching. I am fluent in English and have strong communication skills, which allows me to effectively engage with my students and create an interactive learning experience. As a former avid student of mathematics, I possess strong content knowledge and am able to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. I also have excellent collaborative skills, and work well with peers in a learning community. With almost two years of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to understanding the needs of my students on a personal level and providing them with a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

My approach to teaching involves patient explanation of concepts, followed by theory-based practice problems, and individualized review of homework. I create custom worksheets and teach on a scheduled basis with exams in mind. My special features as a teacher include adaptability to individual student needs and clear communication of expectations. My classes are intended for students in grades 8-12.
