About Anjani

I am currently teaching Indian Math to an 8th grader in Abbotsford. Even though this is my first time officially teaching Math, being academically accomplished, I have years of experience teaching and helping my fellow classmates excel. Additionally, my mother being a teacher, I loved to gather around groups of my own to teach.

About the lesson

I approach a subject with flexibility. Depending upon your requirement, my methodology varies. However, I do believe in clearing basics before moving on to more complex learning. Firstly, I explain the concepts to students. Secondly, I give them problem questions. In case they are unable to solve the questions, I help them out by reading the question and highlighting the main points of the question. If they are still not able to answer the questions, I explain the solution and give them a similar question to solve. Further, I usually give short homework to students in order to develop a thorough understanding. Ultimately, I like to conclude a topic by testing students on their knowledge through a short 30 mins-1 hour exam.
