About Nina
My passion for Architecture emerged from observing how spaces shape emotions, behavior, and community life. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor of Architecture followed by a Master’s degree in Urban Design, where I explored sustainable planning and human-centered design. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through design challenges with warmth, clarity, and structured encouragement.
I approach teaching as a collaborative journey. I prioritize open dialogue, patient feedback, and gradual skill development so students feel supported rather than pressured. By combining conceptual discussions, sketching practice, and project-based learning, I help learners translate abstract ideas into coherent designs with confidence.
Beyond teaching, I stay actively engaged with architecture through urban research, design critiques, and continuous study of evolving practices. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide students with real-world context. Teaching Architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness students gain creative confidence and learn to express meaningful ideas through thoughtful design.

Architecture lessons become meaningful when students understand how ideas evolve into spaces that influence human experience. My teaching approach focuses on helping learners connect creativity with structure, guiding them through design principles, spatial logic, material awareness, and visual storytelling. Lessons emphasize observation, imagination, and disciplined thinking, allowing students to express ideas clearly while respecting functional and contextual constraints. I create a supportive environment where experimentation is encouraged and design mistakes become learning opportunities rather than setbacks.
Instruction adapts to each learner’s stage of development. Beginners focus on sketching fundamentals, proportion, basic composition, and conceptual clarity. Intermediate learners explore site analysis, spatial sequencing, material selection, and design refinement. Advanced students work on portfolio development, presentation skills, project narratives, and critical design reasoning. Each lesson balances creativity with structure, ensuring students develop confidence without losing artistic freedom.
Architecture lessons also nurture personal growth. Students become more observant, expressive, and reflective in how they see the built environment. They gain confidence in articulating ideas visually and verbally. My goal is to help learners develop a strong design identity while cultivating discipline, patience, and thoughtful decision-making that supports long-term creative growth.
